Data Analyst - forecasting (Oakland, CA)

Harborlight Rowan Facilities Group cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Oakland. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 169 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in contractor visits and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on supply orders. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
