Data Analyst - forecasting (Oakland, CA)

Ironwood Meridian Legal Group is a law firm in Oakland serving businesses and individuals, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. Confidentiality and accuracy are taken very seriously. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in trust accounts and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on intake forms. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
