Data Analyst - forecasting (Oakland, CA)

Cedar Hollow Farms is an agricultural business based around Oakland. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in grower contracts and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on cold storage. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
