Data Analyst - forecasting (New Orleans, LA)

We are growing our team at Redstone Junction Housing Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. We value patience and follow-through. What you will do • Investigate trends in resident services and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on rent assistance. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
