Data Analyst - forecasting (New Orleans, LA)

Nova Analytics is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for rent collection, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 7 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in rent collection and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on unit turnovers.
