Data Analyst - forecasting (New Orleans, LA)

Westbrook Juniper Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around New Orleans, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 26 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in case files and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on permits. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
