Data Analyst - forecasting (New Orleans, LA)

Stonegate River Staffing is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for timekeeping, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are in the people business and act like it. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in timekeeping and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on candidate screening.
