Data Analyst - forecasting (New Orleans, LA)

Summit Meridian Hospitality Group operates hotels and event venues around New Orleans. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 25 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in housekeeping schedules and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on food costs. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
