Data Analyst - forecasting (New Orleans, LA)

We are growing our team at Nova Rowan Inspection Services Partners and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Investigate trends in equipment calibration and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on scheduling. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
