Data Analyst - forecasting (Minneapolis, MN)

Redstone Vale Water Authority Partners supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Minneapolis and nearby communities. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Minneapolis. What you will do • Investigate trends in meter reading and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on pipe repairs. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Minneapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
