Data Analyst - forecasting (Miami, FL)

Greenridge Hollow Freight Associates is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in claims and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on carrier rates. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Miami. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
