Data Analyst - forecasting (Memphis, TN)

Bluepeak Quill Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Memphis. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in test reports and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on certifications. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Memphis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
