Data Analyst - forecasting (Memphis, TN)

Northwind Drift Banking Services is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for fraud alerts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in fraud alerts and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on deposit accounts. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Memphis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
