Data Analyst - forecasting (Madison, WI)

Harborlight Yarrow Foods Group is a Madison food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 22 people based in Madison. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in cold storage and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on allergen controls. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
