Data Analyst - forecasting (Madison, WI)

Ironwood Fox Learning Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for family communication, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Investigate trends in family communication and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on student accounts. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
