Data Analyst - forecasting (Madison, WI)

Greenridge Fern Environmental Services is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for landfill records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on fleet maintenance. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
