Data Analyst - forecasting (Louisville, KY)

Summit Amber Financial is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for account servicing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 21 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in account servicing and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on payment disputes. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Louisville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
