Data Analyst - forecasting (Louisville, KY)

Harborlight Nest Markets serves neighbourhoods around Louisville with fresh food and everyday goods, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Investigate trends in promotions and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on supplier deliveries. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Louisville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
