Data Analyst - forecasting (Little Rock, AR)

Summit Vista Manufacturing is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for work orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 412 people based in Little Rock. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in work orders and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on machine downtime. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Little Rock. • We reply to every applicant.
