Data Analyst - forecasting (Las Vegas, NV)

Rivermark Granite Water Authority Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for meter reading, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in meter reading and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on capital projects. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Las Vegas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
