Data Analyst - forecasting (Las Vegas, NV)

We are growing our team at Nova Rook Water Authority and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in treatment plant data and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on meter reading. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Las Vegas. • We reply to every applicant.
