Data Analyst - forecasting (Las Vegas, NV)

Clearpath Vista Water Authority Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for meter reading, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Investigate trends in meter reading and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on pipe repairs. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Las Vegas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
