Data Analyst - forecasting (Las Vegas, NV)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Meridian Foods Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 133 people based in Las Vegas. What you will do • Investigate trends in production batches and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on ingredient orders.
