Data Analyst - forecasting (Las Vegas, NV)

Bluepeak Sparrow Environmental Services is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for weigh tickets, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in weigh tickets and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on service complaints. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Las Vegas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
