Data Analyst - forecasting (Knoxville, TN)

Greenridge Rook Construction is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for materials orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 41 people based in Knoxville. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in materials orders and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on permits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
