Data Analyst - forecasting (Knoxville, TN)

Harborlight Lantern Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around Knoxville. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in customer estimates and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on warranty claims. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Knoxville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
