Data Analyst - forecasting (Knoxville, TN)

Bright Oak Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Knoxville presenting exhibitions and performances, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. We run on creativity, deadlines and a lot of goodwill. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in volunteer programmes and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on visitor services. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Knoxville. • We reply to every applicant.
