Data Analyst - forecasting (Knoxville, TN)

Highbridge Linden Civic Services Group provides shared administrative services to local governments around Knoxville. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Investigate trends in public records and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on budget submissions. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Knoxville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
