Data Analyst - forecasting (Knoxville, TN)

Summit Bright Housing Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for rent assistance, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 17 people based in Knoxville. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on maintenance stores. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Knoxville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
