Data Analyst - forecasting (Knoxville, TN)

Nova Vista Financial is a financial-services company in Knoxville, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Knoxville. What you will do • Investigate trends in vendor spend and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on regulatory reports. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
