Data Analyst - forecasting (Jacksonville, FL)

Silverline Vista Markets is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for supplier deliveries, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in supplier deliveries and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on pricing. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Jacksonville. • We reply to every applicant.
