Data Analyst - forecasting (Jackson, MS)

Greenridge Rowan Hospitality is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for housekeeping schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in housekeeping schedules and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on guest bookings. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
