Data Analyst - forecasting (Jackson, MS)

Foxglove Drift Civic Services is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for permits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We follow procedures carefully and explain them clearly. What you will do • Investigate trends in permits and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on procurement. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Jackson. • We reply to every applicant.
