Data Analyst - forecasting (Jackson, MS)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Bridge Freight and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in claims and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on dock schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
