Data Analyst - forecasting (Jackson, MS)

Silverline Maple Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Jackson and nearby communities, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 34 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in pipe repairs and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on capital projects. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Jackson. • We reply to every applicant.
