Data Analyst - forecasting (Jackson, MS)

Westbrook Sparrow Banking Services is a community-focused bank in Jackson serving households and small businesses, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in deposit accounts and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on card disputes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
