Data Analyst - forecasting (Indianapolis, IN)

Amberfield Beacon Water Authority is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for treatment plant data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in treatment plant data and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on pipe repairs. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Indianapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
