Data Analyst - forecasting (Indianapolis, IN)

Westbrook Clear Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Indianapolis. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would join a large organisation of about 221 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in carrier rates and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on claims. • Python or R for analysis.
