Data Analyst - forecasting (Indianapolis, IN)

Harborlight Sparrow Arts Center is an arts centre in Indianapolis with a full calendar of events. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. Everyone pitches in on show days. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in exhibitions and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on volunteer programmes. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Indianapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
