Data Analyst - forecasting (Indianapolis, IN)

Amberfield Wilder Construction is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for permits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 933 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Investigate trends in permits and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on materials orders. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Indianapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
