Data Analyst - forecasting (Houston, TX)

Greenridge Sparrow Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Houston, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 141 people based in Houston. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on hardship programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
