Data Analyst - forecasting (Honolulu, HI)

Harborlight Beacon Housing is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for waiting lists, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Collaboration with local agencies is constant. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in waiting lists and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on repair requests. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Honolulu. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
