Data Analyst - forecasting (Honolulu, HI)

Silverline Timber Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Honolulu, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in tuition and subsidies and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on enrolment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Honolulu. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
