Data Analyst - forecasting (Honolulu, HI)

Highbridge Wren Energy Group delivers power and gas plans across the Honolulu region, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Investigate trends in usage data and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on outage response. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Honolulu. • We reply to every applicant.
