Data Analyst - forecasting (Honolulu, HI)

Fernwood Ridge Construction delivers building projects for owners across the Honolulu region, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in subcontractor invoices and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on safety records. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Honolulu, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
