Data Analyst - forecasting (Honolulu, HI)

Redstone Orchard Inspection Services is an inspection company in Honolulu with field technicians and lab staff, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 23 people based in Honolulu. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in certifications and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on field inspections. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Honolulu, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
