Data Analyst - forecasting (Hartford, CT)

Northwind Meridian Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Hartford area, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. We invest in training. What you will do • Investigate trends in outage reports and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on service installations. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
