Data Analyst - forecasting (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Nova Rowan Environmental Services and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 33 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on landfill records. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
