Data Analyst - forecasting (Hartford, CT)

Silverline Umber Legal Group is a Hartford practice with attorneys, paralegals and client-service staff. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on forecasting. People here care about clients, not just cases. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in intake forms and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on court deadlines. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
