Data Analyst - forecasting (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Orchard Legal Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. People here care about clients, not just cases. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in court deadlines and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on billing records. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
